Housing and Economic Development
To promote the expeditious and orderly conversion and redevelopment of Fort Devens for non-military uses, including, but not limited to, housing, industrial, institutional, educational, governmental, recreational, conservation, commercial or manufacturing uses, in order to prevent further blight, economic dislocation and additional unemployment, and to aid in strengthening the local economy, the regional economy and the economy of the Commonwealth.
Term Limit: 1 | Term Length: 4 [6 gubernatorial appointees, others approved by the Governor on the nominations of towns]
Meets 7:30-9am Tuesday after first Thursday of the month and holds a public hearing last Tuesday of every month at 33 Andrews Parkway, Devens. Full schedule can be found here http://www.devensec.com/news.html.
