Toxic Use Reduction Science Advisory Board

Board Information

Energy and Environmental Affairs
The institute shall seek to reduce the use of toxic substances and the generation of toxic by-products in Massachusetts by promoting comprehensive environmental management practices, inherently safer products and materials, and the efficient use of resources. The SAB makes scientific recommendations regarding chemicals on the TURA list
Term Limit: 2 | Term Length: 3
Meets once a month. Usually the first or second Tuesday or Wednesday of the month in the afternoon at the Department of Environmental Protection in Boston. For information, please contact Heather Tenney at heather_tenney@uml.edu
The members of the board shall serve without compensation, except that they may be reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses incurred in the course of performing their duties as board members.
